Common questions.

What do you need from me to get started?

Getting your new website live takes four steps:

    The Quick Kickoff: We start with a brief 15-minute phone call or a short introductory form to learn about your goals and ensure we are a good fit.

    The Paperwork: We send over a plain-English agreement and your initial invoice.

  3. 3

    The Blueprint: Once the kickoff is paid, you receive our Website Intake Form. This is where you select your pages, upload your logo, and give us the details we need to write your site.

  4. 4

    The 48-Hour Launch: The moment you hit submit on the Intake Form, our 48-hour build clock starts. We construct your site, send you a private link to review it, and then walk you through the final technical steps to connect your domain. (Note: if you are on our premium tiers and opt for an in-person strategy meeting, the 48-hour clock pauses until we meet.)

Who owns the website?

You own your domain name, your logo, your photos, and your written content outright. We retain ownership of the underlying code, templates, and hosting infrastructure while you are subscribed to our monthly service.

Do I have to buy my own domain name?

Yes, we require you to purchase the domain yourself so it is legally in your name, not ours. For new domains, we highly recommend Namecheap because they are easy to use and include free privacy protection to keep your personal information hidden.

What if I already have a domain with my business email attached?

Not a problem. We connect your domain to our hosting without touching your email setup. Your inbox, your Google Business profile, and anything else tied to your domain stays exactly as it is.

How fast can my site go live?

Our end of the build is typically done within 48 hours of receiving your completed intake form and assets. Pointing your domain to the new site adds another 24 to 48 hours as the change spreads across the internet. That's normal and outside our control.

What counts as an included update on the monthly plans?

Swapping a photo, updating your business hours, adding a new service to a list, changing a phone number, or posting a seasonal promotion. Our Core Webmaster tier includes a 1-hour limit of billable time per month for these updates, which easily covers several of these minor requests in a single batch.

What happens if I need more than my monthly update time, or I'm on a tier without updates?

We quote you before doing any work so there are never surprise charges. Additional single-item update requests are a $50 flat fee. Larger structural work or extra revisions are billed hourly at $75 per hour. You approve the invoice, pay it, and then we do the work.

What if I don't have professional photos of my business yet?

If you don't have high-quality photos of your team, trucks, or workspace, we will supply professional, industry-appropriate stock photography and design elements at no extra charge during the initial build. You can always swap them out for real photos later.

How does billing work, and are there contracts?

All monthly plans require an initial 12-month commitment, after which your plan automatically converts to a month-to-month agreement. Billing is handled automatically on a recurring schedule. We know running a small business can be unpredictable, so if a payment method fails, we provide a 14-day grace period to update your card before your site is taken offline.

Can you build e-commerce or a booking system?

No, and that's intentional. We focus on brochure websites so we can do them exceptionally well. E-commerce and booking systems are a different product entirely, with different technical requirements and ongoing security work we don't provide. We will point you to the right tool rather than build it badly.

Will I be on the first page of Google?

Every plan includes basic on-page SEO (Search Engine Optimization) so Google can easily read, index, and understand what your business does and where you are located. However, we do not provide ongoing SEO content marketing or guarantee first-page rankings, as that requires a dedicated, separate marketing strategy.

Do you set up custom business email addresses?

We do not provide IT support beyond your website. If you need a professional email address, we recommend setting up Google Workspace or Microsoft 365. If you need help connecting those services to your domain, we can configure the technical records for you as a one-time out-of-scope request.

What happens if I want to cancel my subscription?

After your initial 12-month commitment, you can cancel anytime with 30 days written notice. When you do, we hand over a copy of your website files so you can take it to another host. If you need to cancel before the 12 months are up, there is a $249 early termination fee to receive your files. If you prefer to walk away without the files, we waive the fee.

Write blog posts or manage SEO content strategies

Run social media accounts or manage paid ad campaigns

Build e-commerce storefronts or payment gateways

Develop custom databases or user login portals

Design logos or brand identity packages

Provide IT, computer, or email troubleshooting support
