Before ABQ Tech Works, I spent nearly a decade working directly with small businesses on their technology. For six years I managed all technology and web operations for a retail company, and a site rebuild I led contributed to a 30% increase in their online revenue. I also spent over a year as the primary on-site technician for a local Albuquerque IT company, supporting 50+ clients: plumbing companies, restaurants, law firms, and medical practices. I was the person they called when something broke, went offline, or needed to be built from scratch.

I hold eight industry certifications across security, networking, and IT operations. Some of that work was for regulated industries (medical offices, law firms, and financial businesses), where getting it wrong has real consequences.
